Long Island Game Farm Volunteer opportunities:
- Animal Clean-up
- Assist with safety practices
- Assist with special events
- Direct visitors around the Game Farm
- Gardening
- Maintenance
- Miscellaneous tasks (Clean-up, assisting associates or visitors as necessary, etc.)
- Nursery attendant
Volunteers must have a positive attitude, a good work ethic, a desire to learn, be willing to work as a
team as well as work alone. Volunteers should be motivated and be willing to talk to people, including
our visitors and co-workers.
Volunteers will gain education and practical work experience.
Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age and must commit to at least 3 hours a week for 3 days, and must be available on a regularly scheduled basis.
Applications are screened and all eligible volunteer candidates will be called in for an interview and are
subject to a thorough background check.
