On September 20, the Long Island Game Farm hosted the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County at the 6th Annual Girl Scout Day.

Children joined Girl Scout Troops from Suffolk County in creating arts and crafts as their parents learned more about the organization. The Girl Scouts also explored the Game Farm as they visited different exotic animals, went on the fun, exciting rides and visited the newest attraction, Erik’s Reptile Edventure Center.

The Girl Scouts have a special place for the Long Island Game Farm’s owners. Diane Novak, President and Co-Owner of Long Island Game Farm, was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and her daughter, Melinda, the Game Farm’s Vice President and Co-Owner, was in the Girl Scouts as a teenager.
