Long Island Game Farm (LIGF) owners and zookeepers said goodbye to Hudson, the park’s beloved cougar, on Sunday, January 30. At nearly 20 years of age, Hudson, considered one of stars of the zoo, died simply of old age and had lived well beyond the 13-year life span of a cougar. Opening Weekend Begins with “Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures”
This year, Long Island Game Farm – Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo celebrates its 44th season with its grand opening on April 11. The park will be open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the month of April.
