The Long Island Game Farm is inviting children from all over Long Island to Camp Zoo in Manorville, New York. Camp Zoo is a weeklong summer day camp where children learn about animals, zoology and environmental conservation from an experienced teacher and animal lover.
Camp Zoo is back for its ninth year as Long Island’s most interactive animal-themed children’s camp! Camp Zoo is a weeklong summer day camp where children can learn about animals, zoology and environmental conservation through a variety of activities and guidance from a knowledgeable teacher.
Throughout their weeklong adventure, children will embark on nature hikes, explore the wildlife park on zoo tours, take part in scavenger hunts and learn about zoology through talks with the park’s experienced zoo keepers. Campers will also experience up-close animal encounters that can’t be found anywhere else on Long Island.

It’s not always easy being green, spotted, striped or camouflaged! Join us to learn about the many wonderful friends we love and care for at the Long Island Game Farm as well as weird and quirky tidbits about each of them! Explore their natural habitats, find out their special likes and dislikes, create special keepsakes and memories that will last all summerlong!
Herbivores. Carnivores, Omnivores….learn about what our animals enjoy here at the Game Farm and in the wild! Create special treats and toys for some of our long term and new additions to the Game Farm this year as well as some special keepsakes for you to take home with you! Find out more about the food webs, proper diet and nutrition and the special care we provide all our well loved residents.
Join us for our crowd pleaser themed week - fun and games inspired by a carnival theme, as we bid goodbye to summer once more until next year during this last week of camp for the summer! Create projects, learn about our favorite four legged friends, grab your popcorn and their treats, for an animal send off Game-Farm style!
Join us for Mini Camp Zoo! Our new half day program is perfect for campers who may not be ready for a full day experience but love animals and making other friends their own age! Come, explore the game farm and meet our many interesting and friendly animals. Make a project, share a smile, cuddle or pet and learn about the many creatures that reside here in Manorville. Child must be potty trained.
Registration Instructions
Registration for Camp Zoo begins on March 1, 2013. Enrollment is limited and spaces will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, so don't forget to register early! Spaces will be reserved once Camp Zoo receives a completed application and a deposit of $100.00 per child, per week enrolled. All balances are due by June 15. Any camper who registers after
that date is required to pay the amount in full.

Welcome back to all our past campers and their families! We are excited to see you again this year and looking forward to offering you our new "Returning Camper Rate" of $375.00 per week!
Welcome to all new campers! We are excited to have you join our Camp Zoo family and will be introducing you to our programs at our "New Camper Rate" of $425.00 per week!
Become a Junior Camp Zoo Counselor! 12 - 14 year olds that have completed at least one Camp Zoo week are welcome back as Junior Camp Zoo Counselors! Help educate younger children while you learn more about animals and earn your very own Long Island Game Farm Junior Camp Counselor certification for a rate of $275.00 per week!
Rates include all applicable taxes and fees. All campers receive a Camp Zoo T-shirt, as well as a personalized CD filled with photographs of their experience at Camp Zoo. Campers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is recommended that campers register early. The Long Island Game Farm can accept about 25 campers for each session of Camp Zoo; a waiting list will be established for the weeks that are filled.
Online Registration
Registration for Camp Zoo begins on March 1, 2013. Fill out our online application to enroll for Camp Zoo 2013. Reservations are made when a deposit of $100 per child, per week is
received. All balances are due by June 15. Any camper who registers after
that date is required to pay the amount in full. Considering the limited
class sizes, Camp Zoo is expected to fill up quickly. Those who wish to
register can fill out our online application or call (631) 878-6670 to receive the
