Game Farm Announces Winners of Family Story Contest
When the Long Island Game Farm opened in 1970, things were very different then. A gallon of gas cost 36 cents, milk was $1.15 per gallon and the average cost of a new home was $26,600.
For the past 40 years, the Long Island Game Farm has brought plenty of memories to visiting families. Now you shared your favorite stories about the Game Farm. The winner will receive a family season pass. The runners-up will all receive family four-packs.
“We encouraged our visitors to share their favorite stories about what it was like to be at the Long Island Game Farm,” said Melinda Novak, Co-Owner and Vice President. “With the thousands of visitors who came through the gates this year, we believed each story that was submitted was as unique as the next one.”
