Muttville Comix Canine Comedy Show Returns to Long Island Game Farm
Show Begins May 26, 2012
Once again, the Long Island Game Farm is presenting Johnny Peers’ Muttville Comix, a popular canine comedy show that has been performing all over the country since 1980. The show will run daily from May 26 to September 3 at the Game Farm’s 500-seat amphitheater, with two shows on weekdays at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and three shows on weekends and holidays at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The show stars Johnny Peers, a former professional clown with Ringling Bros. and the Barnum & Bailey Circus, and his 15 dogs, most of which have been rescued from shelters. During the show, Mr. Peers and his canine crew will perform a variety of tricks, such as jumping rope, ladder climbing, tightrope walking and skateboarding. The winner of Animal Planet’s Pet Star Television Show in 2003, Muttville Comix has performed at numerous venues, including the White House and Disneyland.
“We are excited about hosting Johnny Peers and his ‘muttley’ crew again this season. This is a show that the whole family will enjoy. It is entertaining and touching, and a treat for all animal lovers,” said Melinda Novak, Co-Owner and Vice President, Long Island Game Farm.
