Long Island Game Farm to Provide Carousel Rides for Children
from First 50 Schools That Register for 2010 Field Trips
In celebration of its 41st anniversary, Long Island Game
Farm is offering a free carousel ride for each student on the day of their
trip to the first 50 schools that make their reservations and submit their
payment in full by April 30, 2010. In addition, each school will receive one
real ostrich egg to display in their school to commemorate their visit.
In addition to the ostrich egg and carousel offer, schools that are
classified as Title I will receive a discounted rate of $6.00 per child.
(Proof of Title I certification must be provided.) Since 1970, Long Island Game Farm has offered a unique
educational and entertaining experience for the children.
"As we celebrate our 41st anniversary, we are pleased to offer this discount
to the local schools," said Melinda Novak, Co-Founder and Co-Owner, Long
Island Game Farm. "This discount will definitely enable these children to
have a wonderful, educational experience at our Game Farm, even in these
difficult economic times."
For the children, there are carnival-style rides such as the Spinning
Teacups, Rio Grande Mini Train and the Antique Carousel. In addition,
children can watch shows and animal activities that are offered every day.
Tickets are $8.95 per child for groups of 15 or more. For groups of 250
people or more, the cost is $8.45 per child. Prices do not include tax.
