Long Island Game Farm Offers 40% Discount Group Rates to Local Schools and Non-Profits
Reserve Early — Offer Ends March 16!
MANORVILLE, N.Y. —In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Long Island Game Farm is offering a 40 percent discount on group rates for school districts and non-profit organizations that make their group reservations and pay in advance before March 16.
This discount will make the Game Farm accessible to the students and children, as non-profits are seeing a drop in donations because of the current economic conditions, and school districts may face drastic cuts in education under New York State Governor David Paterson's proposed budget. Since 1970, Long Island Game Farm has offered a unique educational and entertaining experience for the children.
"As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are pleased to offer this discount to the local schools and non-profit organizations," said Melinda Novak, Co-Founder and Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. "This discount will definitely enable these children to have a wonderful, educational experience at our Game Farm, even in these difficult economic times."
For the children, there are carnival-style rides such as the Spinning Teacups, Rio Grande Mini Train and the Antique Carousel. Carousel tickets will be discounted at $1.00 each. Pony rides are also available on weekends during the off-season for $5.00 each. In addition, children can watch shows and animal activities that are offered every day.
Tickets are normally $8.95 per child for groups of 15 or more. But if you register early, and pay in advance, the cost is only $5.37.
